Information about the parish council

We are volunteer representatives from your community who make up your Parish Council. If you are interested in becoming a parish councillor please let us know.

The Parish Council meets seven times a year.
We generally meet Wednesdays at 7pm and they are held in the ‘Meeting Room’ at the:

No16 Coffee House and Bar in the Stables in High Melton, Doncaster, DN5 7SZ
.

Dates and timings of meetings will be published on the Parish Council website and on the notice boards in the village.

Why not come along to the meetings and express your support or air your concerns. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings.

We are occasionally joined at their meetings by ward councillors who represent our views at Doncaster Council.

We hold an Annual Parish Meeting in May each year.

The Parish Council is administered by the Clerk to the Parish Council. The Parish Clerk is Paul Rollinson and you may contact the Clerk by email: highmeltonpc@outlook.com

Meeting Minutes

The minutes of all Parish Council meetings are published on this website, within 20 days of the meeting taking place. The minutes are then approved by Councillors at the next suitable meeting and kept as a legal record of proceedings.

After each meeting the Clerk, or any of the Councillors, are instructed to carry out the actions that have been approved at the meeting. Meetings are administered by the Parish Clerk. Any issues that residents wish to raise can be sent to the Clerk, or alternatively discussed with any of the councillors.

Meeting Agenda

The agenda for each meeting is published on this site and also posted in the two notice boards in the village (Melton Mill Lane and Doncaster Road) at least three days before the meeting is to be held. Residents are welcome to attend Council meetings. Although members of the public do not take part in the business of the meeting a public session of 15 minutes is held at every meeting where issues can be presented to the Members.

The minutes of the most recent meeting and earlier minutes can be found here:
